Re: more flexibility using regular pattern
ok here a sample shot to better explain.
the upwards arrow should point in world z direction while the smaller arrow should get his direction from the spline as it does here.- Mon Mar 28, 2011 7:11 pm

more flexibility using regular pattern
Hello programmer team.
It would be great to have an option that the "Affect Transform" under "Regular Pattern Settings" is affecting only selected axes like "x and y but not z" for example.
usage in my case:
I have a scene (stadium) where people should be scattered along splines. they have to face ...

Re: border spline behaviors (bug)
It is working like glossy refraction. It is sharp then spline close and blurry then spline is far.
For us it is good way to make process of distribution very fast.
why then the change of projection axis gives different results? that makes no sense to me..
I prefer slowly but where i want ! far ...

Re: border spline behaviors (bug)
no textures but the proxies are included.
edit: on the left is the scene with the spline created on another grid. just move this rectangle around and see what I mean with strange behavior...

border spline behaviors (bug)
hi.
not sure if it's a bug but border spline does not work for me as expected. z projection not ortho? I would expect that nothing happens if I move my spline in z axis in my case (see pics). Am I wrong?
by the way: if I create a spline to use as border spline with another grid (different rotation ...
