Re: Multiscatters jumping position on 1st frame.
Hi Anvar, Ok.. I think I actually got it this time. I hope. After installing the update I had the same issue with moving geometry. *but*..I did more investigating and I think I`ve found the culprit. You`re not gonna like me though ! :( On my landscape MS distributor surface I have a few modifiers. 2...

Re: Move Rollout also affects Pivot Point not just Position ?
Hi Anvar, Thanks for getting back to me, I hope you and your team are all doing ok. I`ve sent a simplified file over that shows it, but basically when using the Move Offset the object samples only Rotate correctly around their Z axis using Constant or Random Rotation. Using XY axes spin them around ...

Move Rollout also affects Pivot Point not just Position ?
Hi Anvar, I`ve noticed that using the `Move` rollout to add some random offset Position to Scatter Objects *also affects the Pivot Point of the Scatter Objects(Samples) themselves. The problem with this is that when adding random Rotation the Scatter Objects no longer rotate around their own Pivot P...

Re: Multiscatters jumping position on 1st frame.
Hi Anvar,
No problem.
I`ll strip it down and package it up in a bit. Might be something weird in one of my files but just in case it isn`t.
thanks
anthony

Multiscatters jumping position on 1st frame.
Hi Anvar, I have a weird bug(?) .. I`m doing an animation with many non-animated MultiScatters on a landscape, trees, rocks etc. edit: I just tested and can confirm it also happens locally on just my pc, the 1st frame is different to all others regardless of which frame is 1st. 0-10, 0 is different....

Move Offset by Map ?
Hi Anvar, Just thought I`d drop a request to be able to control the Move transform offset using a Image/Procedural Map, like you can with Scale. I can see some good uses for it, like animated waves/pulses based on an image sequence that could be quite cool. I had something recently that could have b...

Re: Frozen Scatter Geometry Visible in Rendering
Hi anvar, Will do ! I`ve created a MultiScatter with a plane for the distribution surface and a teapot as Sample. I duplicated the MultiScatter so I have 2, when they render with both in scene you get coplanar face errors as expected. If I now `Freeze` 1 of the MultiScatter objects with `Hide Frozen...

MultiScatter doesn`t update viewport with Animated Distribution Geometry
Hi Anvar, I`m using a MScatter on an animated distribution object (animated Position only) but it doesn`t update in the viewport, the Scatter just stays wherever it was animated last. Animated Mesh preview is ticked on (although I thought that was for animated Scatter objects rather than distributio...

Re: Frozen Scatter Geometry Visible in Rendering
Hi Anvar, Not entirely similar, related maybe ? I don`t use Object Layers in 3dsmax. I have 2 identical Multiscatters (except for a color gradient). I froze one(with `hide frozen objects` on) but it still renders, causing coplanar faces errors etc with the other Multiscatter still in scene. If I fre...
