lost registration after reinstall windows

yesterday my system was corrupted by a virus. there was no way to fix it and in had to reinstall my system completely
now everything is new installed but vrayscatter will not work again. there is no change at my system except the windows installation.
when i start the "VRayScatterRegistration_2.exe" and choose "Apply Key File" with the xxxxx.key that i have from the previous registration, the following error occurs: "Can't apply Key File".
should i creat a new xxxxx.id file and send it again? is it normal after reinstall windows? i've read in the instructions that only in case of hdd replacement a new registration is needed.

edit: one think i've forget. my networkadapter has an updated driver after the reinstallation.

Do you have administrators rights on this computer?

yes. the administrator account is the only account on my computer.

now i have five different keys, "VRayScatterRegistration_2.exe" and "VRayScatterRegistration64x.exe". nothing helps ...

It is very strange situation.
You can try to install license manually.
1. Rename *.key file that you have got from us to "VRayScatter.key"
2. Put this file to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\iCubeSoft (if you don't have this folder - just make it)
Try to make vrayscatter object and render it.
