regular pattern rotation

i'm using a regular pattern to scatter some objects but i need it to be rotated (no the objects themselves).
i can't see any option to achive the desired effect.
i noticed that if i rotate the distribution object the pattern rotate at the sime time...
so, i'd like to rotate the pattern without rotating the distribution object

Regular pattern can be controlled by UVW mapping of surface. Just try to rotate UVW mapping gizmo.
