You could install all the plugins manually without the installer, they are located in batch and workstation directories; I've also compiled all the plugins on CentOS 6.2 and they will be uploaded very soon, hope this will help.

CentOS version works like a charm, thanks guys.
And yes, we've been installing using a custom shell script, mentioning the installer glibc requirement was more of a heads up as to why it won't install on RHEL/CentOS systems.
