VrayScatter 2.5.7 new build available

Will do... i just now tested the combo VRay sp4 + VRS 2.5.5 and this works ok! 2.5.6 and 2.5.7 have the problems.

We did the tests and everything is working fine with VrayScatter 2.5.7 and Vray SP4
Possible reasons:
1. Wrong license (please generate new ID file and send it to us)
2. Incorrect version of VrayScatter (please carefully refer here https://icube3d.com/index.php/plugi ... scatter/3/)

I'm having the same problem. I had a previously working 2.5.5 w/VRay sp4 and Max 2010 x64. Now that I've upgraded to 2.5.7 I'm getting the bizarre renderings you see below.

Nope - there weren't any system changes between 2.5.5 and 2.5.7. I just installed 2.5.7 on top of 2.5.5 - should I have uninstalled 2.5.5 first?

Now we think that on SOME computers license from 2.5.5 is not working with 2.5.7.
If you have this kind of problems, you need just generate new ID file by VRayScatterRegistrationXX.exe from 2.5.7 distrib and send it to us to get new *.key file
Today we have plan to release small update 2.5.7a - it includes warning window for license problem situation.

Thanks to very speedy support from iCube R&D team we're up and running again. It turns out that I unnecessarily ran an old licensing utility (2.5.5) that was sitting on our file server instead of the new 2.5.7 version... Once I got a new key file and re-ran the correct license tool everything worked fine.

For our other workstation license we ran the 2.5.7 WS installer and everything went fine - no problems at all.
