WISH: Look-at control for scattered objects

Is it currently possible to control rotation of scattered objects using a look-at control or similar?

We have had the need for this feature in several situation - ie. crowds in arena etc. - have tried using the rotation map but finding this very hard to control. Would be great if you could pick a look-at object for scattered objects, or let scattered objects inherit the original objects look-at constraint.

It can be done by rotation by texture. Use Gradient Ramp for that.

1. Wrong color of gradient. You need gradient from black to blue (for Z axys rotation)
2. Wrong map intensity. It have to be 0,5
3. Wrong mapping aspect. You need square mapping for correct "look at" rotation
If you need animate "look at" point, you can animate position of mapping gizmo. Size of mapping gizmo have to be enough big to cover all surface in any position of mapping gizmo.

thank admin...

point 2: didn´t think of intensity 0.5...and even don´t understand it now...but anyway ...this had the most visible influence...

thanks admin/anvar?
