I'm modeling an intersection where one approach has two left lanes, two through lanes, and one right. As the cars approach the red signal, cars begin to stack up but cars approaching behind them will sometimes make a 4 lane change because it's looking for the path of least resistance. This causes a few issues. One, the cars tend to get stuck and two, it doesn't look good even if I delete the problem car because of the gap it left. I tried using narrow obstacles in between lanes and this seems to help most of the time but occasionally a car crosses over and get's stuck. Another issue that happens are cars making last minute lane changes before they get to an obstruction tend to straddle the obstruction and get stuck. I attached some screen shots showing the intersection and problems. I'm hoping you have some trick to help control cars at intersections or hopefully the latest version has some new features that will fix this issue.
