We have a problem with one of our golf projects: the scene has three different Multiscatter objects for grass and another one for trees.
When we send it to render on our render nodes, in task manager you can see 3ds max not making much use of the hyperthreading and using the main cores to about half their power.
All nodes have Win7 64 bit, Max 2010 64 bit, Vray SP5.
Some are i7 920 and i7 980x procsessors with 12 Gb of RAM, attached are screenshots from task manager
We tried setting Dynamic Memory Limit to 4Gb, 8 Gb and 0 (no limit), but the result is still the same.
Could it be that it's happening because it's loading/unloading proxies into RAM? If so are there any settings to try or optimisation to make it utilise the resources better?
Thank you

Re: Multiscatter not utilising 100% of the cores
Vray has its own memory optimization and sometimes hard to understand how it works. But most situation then CPU is not loading to 100% mens that memory is in dynamic mode. In this mode computer dynamicly upload and dowload information from HDD and its come rendering slowly.
